Tee Times & Handicaps

As I reported before, the Club has established a Handicap Committee for the benefit of all players.  This Committee, through The Head Professional will monitor the input of scores from the members of the three Firethorne organizations, namely the MGA, SGA and FWGA.

This benefits all players to insure that proper handicaps are recorded to prevent bogus handicaps either by not recording low scores or mis-reporting scores.  I urge you all to insure you record at the end of every round whether or not you play with the SGA or not on any given day.

You are required to post 9 hole scores as well as 18 hole scores.  You must post 9 holes if you play at least 7 holes and 18 hole scores if you play at least 14 holes.

People who don't post scores always have a good reason.  So do people who get caught holding up 7-elevens.

  • We were bumping the ball.
  • We played the back nine first.
